「十侍」威士忌全線出產都用上日本很稀有的水楢木桶, mizunara水楢（mizu在日語中是水的意思）, 在日本主要長於北海道.一顆水楢完全長成需要200年或更久.  一個水楢木桶的平均價格為美金6萬

日本嚴格限製砍伐80年以下樹齡的水梄木, 使得水楢木的供應十分有限. 三得利目前每年也只製作100個水楢桶,  另外因為普遍水楢桶威士忌都獲得過一些獎項以及近年很多愛好及投資者對日本高檔威士忌的追捧, 使得水楢桶威士忌的價格居高不下. 

「十侍」蒸餾廠有50年歷史, 位於新潟縣日本中部地區佐渡島的美麗山坡上. 這地區以雪山和純淨水聞名. 在冬季，積雪一直積聚在山頂，直到溫度變暖，然後逐漸融化並流經新潟縣的河流。 酒廠也使用同樣的水，使十侍的威士忌具有獨特的味道。

這次十侍首推出的Blended Malt調和威士忌完全體現了品牌古老日本武士堅定不移 層次豐富的精神
